What grade levels can create a pod with a Mathocity tutor/instructor?

Pods can be created for elementary students, grades 1st through 5th grade. 

Where do the Mathocity pods meet?

In-person or ONLINE!

For in-person sessions, Mathocity has two locations!!

          · In Stillwater, our office is located in the historic Berry House! 

            The address is 502 South Duck Street.

          · In Cushing, we are located at 1138 N. Little Street.

What will we do when our math pod meets?

We will work through the material the students are learning in school. 

Since pods are created with students that are on the same math level and attending school in the same formats (in-person or online or homeschool)…we work to meet each pod's unique needs!   We can work through examples, homework problems, worksheets…it’s really up to the students

in the pod. Whatever they need, we will reduce confusion and share lightbulb moments!

My son really needs help with math…can Mathocity create a pod and help us find other students to join? 

Absolutely!  Just fill-out of the request form here and we will get the ball rolling! We will email you more info and we’ll start recruiting students to 

join your pod.  Feel free to ask your friends and classmates to join too!

How often do the math pods meet?

Some pods meet once a week and others meet more often….just depends on the needs of the group. Each session is one hour.

How do I find out what pods are open and available to join?

How much does it cost to be a student in a math pod?

The rate/session is dependent upon the number of students enrolled

in the pod.  More students = more savings !!

              2 students  = $30/student/session

              3 students  = $25/student/session

              4-5 students = $20/student/session

Before the pod starts meeting, how will I know when a student has requested to join my pod?

When a student requests to join a pod, we will send an email to all of the students in that pod. This will keep everyone up-to-date on the size of the pod and the cost savings 😊 

When is payment due, since I won’t know how many students will 

be joining the pod at the time that I submit the request form?

No payment is due until the pod students agree on the pod size and we schedule the first session.
